Moving forward, we plan to send you the latest news on the European Climate and Health Observatory and on climate-health policy and action in Europe every 3 to 4 months. If you find our newsletter valuable, please circulate it within your network. And if you think we could do better, share your feedback and contributions for future editions via climate.adapt@eea.europa.eu.   This newsletter is part of our ongoing mission at the European Climate and Health Observatory to enhance Europe's resilience to the health impacts of climate change. We aim to achieve this by offering access to a wide and expanding range of resources on climate-health risks, impacts and responses on the Observatory portal, part of Climate-ADAPT, and by fostering knowledge exchange among stakeholders from the health and climate adaptation sectors.     The EEA team, on behalf of European Climate and Health Observatory Management group Spotlight © European Environment Agency EEA report Responding to climate change impacts on human health in Europe: focus on floods, droughts and water quality Read more News from Observatory partners © Igor Popovic, Climate Change PIX / EEA European Climate Risk Assessment highlights imminent threats to health Read more © Edgaras Vaicikevicius, My City / EEA Lancet Countdown Europe report calls for urgent action to protect health of all Read more © António Tedim, Well with Nature / EEA Eurofound’s EU PolicyWatch shows socio-economic measures against weather extremes Read more © Tarmo Selter, Well with Nature / EEA Copernicus' European State of the Climate report warns of health risks Read more © WikiImages from Pixabay ECDC reports increase in mosquito-borne disease cases and outbreaks Read more © Vesna Špoljar, Climate Change PIX / EEA EEA briefs on learnings from Climate-ADAPT and Observatory case studies Read more © EU-OSHA EU-OSHA joins the Observatory Read more © Necmettin Kan, Climate Change PIX /EEA EEA calls for scientific experts Read more Other news from partners New resources in the Observatory portal New case studies inspire climate action to protect health  Climate change risks for children and youth Insights into climate change impacts on water and health CAMS four-day pollen forecasts Health in country reporting under Governance Regulation More news on climate and health © Zane Šime, ZeroWaste PIX / EEA Climate-Health Cluster brief urges action on climate change and health Read more © Daniel Kusak, My City / EEA WHO publishes new factsheet on heat and health Read more © Clorinda Galasso, My City / EEA LIFE RESYSTAL launches climate resilience capacity check for hospitals Read more © LIFE programme 2024 LIFE programme welcomes proposals on climate and health Read more © Judit Bánszki, WaterPIX / EEA World Bank reports on adaptation responses to urban overheating Read more © Marco Barretta, Climate Change PIX / EEA World Economic Forum sees role for private sector in addressing health impacts of climate change Read more More climate-health news Upcoming events 10 July - Heatwave Chronicles: Strategies for resilience in a warming world, online 26 September - Extreme Heat Risk: knowledge exchange & innovation event, Brussels 12-15 November - European public health conference 2024, Lisbon If you did not receive your own copy of this newsletter, we invite you to subscribe here.
